My heart breaks for the town of Newtown Conneticu. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears yesterday morning. I have visited Newtown many times. It is the perfect New England town. I cannot believe that someone was sick enough to kill a classroom of children. When will the violence stop?

There are no words......Never in a million years could I think of something so tragic.
ReplyDeleteI find myself at times with tears in my eyes and then I feel anger towards a society where violence has become so prevalent. My heart breaks for the families in Newtown and our nation as a whole. While I do not believe there is a "right" answer to these type of tragedies, I do believe that SOMETHING has to be done to change our world.
My daughter is 6 years old and I am saddened by the world in which she will grow up. My biggest "worry" in attending school was practicing a fire drill. Now, my daughter will learn what to do in case of a shooting or a possible terrorist attack.
I struggle in times like this to still find the beauty in humanity. I am focusing on the outpouring of love and prayers from around the world.
