I apologize for not posting yesterday but the hectic times of Thursday continued on Friday!! Finally things seem to have calmed down.Yesterday was Mother's 76th Birthday!!! My Mother is a great lady who is very pretty, very smart and just a great person. After dealing with more HVAC people yesterday our problems seems to have been solved!!! So yesterday afternoon Mother and I headed for Flemington New Jersey and the J. Crew Outlet (where I treated Mother to what turned out to be a cashmere and cotton cardigan shopping spree as part of her birthday present) and then we had a yummy dinner at Meils in Stockton, New Jersey. Meils is one of Mother's favorites and a good time was had by all.
Tonight I am having two couple friends of Mother's over (they were supposed to come last evening but graciously agreed to reschedule to tonight at the last minute due to our HVAC issues). for dinner. In lieu of cooking I had picked up dinner at Maggiano's yesterday due to our HVAC issues (but ended up giving that food to a friend of mine) because I could not have company . Tonight I am serving chicken marsala, field green salad with craisins, walnuts, and mandarine oranges, stuffed mushrooms and a chocolate cake for dessert. No I did not make the dinner. I ordered from a local gourmet shop.
